The Munger Landing Great Lakes Legacy Act project began construction in July 2022. Excavation/Dredging occurred from August through December 2022 when it was shut down for weather issues. Approximately 54,000 cubic yards of contaminated sediments were dredged and removed between August and December. Excavation and/or dredging activities are scheduled to re start in January and run through November 2023. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR), Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), and Paramount Global are collaborating as non-federal sponsors of the project. Paramount Global anticipates filing a BRTTS closure request to the WDNR upon completion of remedial activities
