During this time period, Superior Water, Light & Power (SWL&P), together with Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC (Foth) submitted the final 100% Remedial Action Design Report for the upland portion of the Site to WDNR on October 10, 2022 and paid the associated $1,050 review fee (which was confirmed received by WDNR via email on October 19, 2022). SWL&P was responsive in providing answers and information requested during the WDNR review period. Conditional approval of this report was provided by WDNR in a letter dated December 29, 2022. In addition, SWL&P and Foth continued discussions with WDNR and USEPA on the Project Agreement and Statement of Work (SOW) with GLNPO under the Great Lakes Legacy Act (GLLA) program. This included participating in monthly project collaboration meetings with WDNR and USEPA. It also included coordinating with WDNR and AECOM on the recent sediment sampling efforts in the âC-Street Slipâ, a portion of which is adjacent to the Former MFG Plant. The current schedule anticipates conducting the upland remedial action in 2023 and the in-water sediment remedial action in 2024.
