PSI has completed revisions to the previously submitted closure documentation for this
case, as requested by the WDNR and have received comments of the revisions for the
client. PSI has prepared a draft of a Site Investigation and Remedial Action Report (SIRAR)
and following review it was submitted to the WDNR in June 2018. PSI prepared a proposal
to perform additional site investigation activities on this parcel January 7, 2020. Field
activities in regard to the evaluation of soil vapors was performed on January 21, 2021 and
collected vapor samples have been submitted to the laboratory for evaluation for the
presence of PVOC + Naphthalene. Based upon the review of the laboratory test results and
field collected data, there is no evidence that indicates vapor intrusion into the existing
building, surrounding buildings or surrounding public and private underground utilities that
has or potentially may occur at this time from the encountered petroleum VOCs or
Methane level within the subsurface conditions present on the Subject Property. PSI also
evaluated for emerging contaminants. Walmart has given approval to evaluate for the
presence of PFASs within the groundwater associated with the existing wells. These
sampling activities were completed in August 2022. Additional groundwater sampling for
the presence of PFASs was proposed and will be performed following client approval. Site Investigation Workplan, dated July 29, 2022
