Base is coordinating the Material Management Plan for multiple construction projects to ensure that soils contaminated with PFAS contamination are appropriately managed during the construction. Current construction project is the replacement of the hydrant fuel system. USACE is the construction agent working on behalf of Defense Logistics Agency to replace the fueling system. USACE contractor has delineated PFAS soil contamination within the excavation footprint for the construction and preparing recommendations for ANG. ANG is following the Material Management Plan submitted to WDNR.
