Soil borings and monitoring wells were advanced on and off-site by GEC during September of 2022. A Status Update summarizing the work was submitted to the WDNR by GEC on October 14, 2022, which recommended additional soil, groundwater, and vapor testing. The report also requested the WDNR aid in acquiring access to off-site properties for the necessary testing. Carow Land Surveying and Environmental was requested to continue the project by the RP during 2023. CLSE is planning to put together a scope of work for approval by the RP upon notification that off-site access has been acquired by the WDNR. If access will be delayed significantly, CLSE could also submit costs for approval to perform an additional groundwater sampling round.
