The City of Hartford has a site investigation plan to determine the nature and extent of soil and groundwater impacts for the suspected release related to the former dry cleaners. However, the City has postponed the site investigation because of scheduled highway reconstruction in front of the site that is scheduled by the WDOT in 2016. The City is planning to have the investigation performed in 2015 so that if remediation is necessary that it may be coordinated with other construction activities. Potential exposure pathways are limited as the site is currently paved and used as a public parking lot.
