Groundwater samples were collected from monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, MW-9, MW-11 and the tank sump on July 24, 2023, and October 9, 2023. A Status Update was submitted to the WDNR on August 23, 2023. The underground storage tank system associated with this release is planned to be removed during the winter of 2024. During the removal, soils with contaminant concentrations of petroleum compounds exceeding the direct contact standards will be removed and properly disposed of at a landfill. Carow Land Surveying & Environmental (CLSE) will perform a tank system site assessment (TSSA) at the time of the removal. CLSE will prepare a TSSA Report subsequent to the work. CLSE is also preparing a Site Investigation Report and a Closure Request for this case.
