Carow Land Surveying & Environmental (CLSE) is currently attempting to establish a contract with the responsible party to complete any additional site investigation work on the source property but has not been authorized to move ahead with additional work at this time. Additionally, as stated within General Engineering Company's (GEC) (former consultant) Status Update (GEC October 14, 2022), the adjoining off-site property owners have denied access to perform any investigative work. Access attempts were made by GEC through written access agreements, phone calls, and in-person requests during the performed field work. Therefore, GEC requested WDNR assistance with the off-site access in the Status Update. In order for this project to move forward, the WDNR will need to assistance with the off-site access.
