The Hayton Area Remediation Project (HARP) is located in Calumet County, Wisconsin, and has been divided into four operable units (OUs). Significant source removal and restoration efforts have been completed in OU1 through OU4/Lower. OU1, OU2, OU3 and OU4 have received No Further Action determinations. Wetland restoration maintenance and monitoring continued in OU4/Lower in spring/summer 2023. Natural Recovery Monitoring is being conducted under BRRTS No.: 02-08-587669. The sediment, surface water, and fish tissue sampling activities were completed between May 2023 and September 2023 in accordance with the WDNR-approved Natural Recovery Monitoring Plans.
