The lateral and vertical extent of the chlorinated solvent contaminant plume has generally been defined with the exception of the source area beneath the building at 233 W. Layton Avenue which was formerly occupied by One Hour Martinizing. UEC is soliciting bids to raze the structure and preparing cost estimates so the owner can decide between razing the building and delineating the underlying source area or mitigating the documented PCE VRSL exceedance in the sub-slab vapor as the pathway to case closure. |
