An updated Case Closure Narrative (Form 4400-202) was submitted for DNR review on February 20, 2024, and additional requirements needed for case closure were requested by the DNR in a letter dated April 29, 2024. Pursuant to the April 29, 2024 DNR letter, the groundwater monitoring wells at the site were abandoned and a confirmatory round of vapor sampling was completed at the adjacent former Pugh Oil property in May 2024. The analytical data showed the vapor results were below DNR vapor risk screening levels. A sample results notification was subsequently prepared and submitted to the landowner and DNR in letters dated May 9, 2024. An updated closure package will be prepared and is anticipated to be submitted to the DNR in August 2024.
