Ramboll, on behalf of Newell Operating Company (NOC), submitted a PFAS Focused NR 716 Site Investigation Work Plan (the “Work Plan”) to the WDNR on February 26, 2024. The WDNR approved the Work Plan on March 8, 2024. Soil boring/monitoring well installation activities were completed in March 2024, and the associated soil sample analytical results were provided to the WDNR and property owner in an April 18, 2024 NR 716.14 data transmittal. PFAS groundwater samples were collected from the new and existing monitoring wells on April 5, 2024, and the associated analytical results were provided to the WDNR and property owner in a May 16, 2024, data transmittal. Pressure transducers were deployed in the groundwater monitoring wells on May 31, 2024, and a second PFAS groundwater sampling event was completed on June 18, 2024.
