Project Update: Phase II Environmental Site Assessment at 375 Lopas Street
To whom it may concern:
I hope this email finds you well. I’m reaching out to provide an update on the Phase II Environmental Site Assessment currently underway at 375 Lopas Street in Menasha, Wisconsin.
McMahon Associates has initiated the work as outlined in the project scope. Here is the current status and next steps:
Current Status:
Observations have been made for the placement of temporary groundwater monitoring wells. These wells will be drilled to a depth of approximately 10 to 15 feet below grade.
Soil borings (five to seven in total) are being prepared for the collection of samples. The samples will undergo laboratory analysis for Petroleum Volatile Organic Compounds (PVOCs) and naphthalene.
Groundwater samples are also being collected for analysis of PVOCs and naphthalene.
Soil samples are being screened using a Photoionization Detector (PID) to detect PVOC presence.
Next Steps:
Completion of laboratory testing for all soil and groundwater samples.
Preparation of the Phase II ESA report, summarizing the findings and analyses conducted throughout the process.
If you have any questions or need additional details regarding the project, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for your continued partnership, and we will provide further updates as the project progresses. This has been weighing on me for quite sometime, I'm glad it is moving along. I am continuing to pray for positive results and a quick completion.
Best regards,
John Melsha
