A meeting with the WDNR occurred on January 26, 2016 to discuss vapor intrusion analysis for the various properties associated with the former Third Ward MGP site. Per the action item from the meeting, We Energies will provide WDNR with a Work Plan which will include a discussion of soil remediation,
groundwater data, building construction/vapor barrier details, and recommendations for installation of vapor probes around the perimeter of the building to determine whether aerobic conditions exist beneath the building. Other action items included in the June 29, 2015 WDNR Closure Request denial letter are being addressed, including updated groundwater monitoring data.
