Waterway and Wetland Question and Complaint Form


Please use this form to submit a permitting question or complaint of a potential violation about activities such as: 
  • Placing structures or crossings in a waterway, including piers, boat ramps, riprap, bridges, etc.
  • Dredging/removing material from a waterway
  • Realigning a stream
  • Filling in a waterway or wetland area
  • Constructing a pond within 500 feet of a navigable waterway or in a wetland.

Your complaints of potential violations and questions are important to us. DNR Waterways prioritizes responses to address concerns for public health and safety and significant environmental impacts. If DNR Waterways does not have permitting jurisdiction over your topic, you may not receive a response and please use one of these other customer service options.
