WATERFORD WATERWAY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: Invasive Species in Waterford-Tichigan
The Waterford Waterway Managment District (WWMD) will undertake both a Lake Education Project and an Aquatic Nuisance Species Control Program. The WWMD will purchase exotics species literature for distribution at educational meetings, pontoon classroom days, and area libraries and for mailings to households in the WWMD. The WWMD will also sponsor loosestrife eradication pilot projects and conduct a survey for purple and yellow loosestrife (following protocols established by the Wisconsin Wetlands Association).
