BERRY LAKE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSN INC: Berry Lake AIS Control

The Berry Lake Property Owners Association proposes to control Hybrid Watermilfoil and Phragmites in Berry Lake by implementing control measures during the period 2015-2018. The project includes conducting Point Intercept surveys using the DNR Aquatic Plant Treatment Evaluation Protocol http://www4.uwsp.edu/cnr/uwexlakes/ecology/APM/Appendix-D.pdf, in addition to 3 peak biomass surveys and lake bathymetry mapping; controlling Hybrid Watermilfoil and Phragmites with aquatic herbicide treatments and hand pulling coordination; and implementing an aquatic invasive species prevention and control strategy that includes soliciting in-kind volunteer work.
