LEGEND LAKE P & R DISTRICT: Management of AIS in Legend Lake
The Legend Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District proposes to control Eurasian Watermilfoil and Curlyleaf Pondweed in Legend Lake by implementing control measures during 2015.
The project includes conducting;Spring AIS mapping survey, Polygon PI survey (pre-treatment; 544 points; EWM/HWM/CLP), Summer AIS mapping survey DASH, Polygon PI survey (post treatment;544 points; all species), Full PI survey: System-wide, Fall AIS mapping survey
Polygon PI survey (post-treatment; 544 points ;EWM/HWM)
Point Intercept surveys using the DNR Aquatic Plant Treatment Evaluation Protocol http://www4.uwsp.edu/cnr/uwexlakes/ecology/APM/Appendix-D.pdf ,will be utilized, in addition to creating the AIS distribution maps.
