LAKESHORE NATURAL RESOURCES PARTNERSHIP INC.: Lk. Michigan Shoreline & Inland Phrag Control Project
Lakeshore Natural Resources Partnership (LNRP) proposes to implement the Manitowoc County Shoreline and Inland Phragmites Management Plan approved by the WDNR in 2014. The project will monitor and map non-native phragmites locations, establish rapid response reporting and treatment protocols, conduct manual, mechanical and chemical treatment of phragmites, and provide educational opportunities to private landowners and County and Town Highway Department crews to give them the ability to control phragmites on their respective properties.
