BEECHER LAKE PROTECTION & REHAB DISTRICT: Beecher Lake EWM Contorl Projec Phase 2
The Beecher Lake District proposes to control Eurasian Watermilfoil in Beecher Lake by implementing control measures during the period 2015-2018.
The project includes conducting Point Intercept surveys using the DNR Aquatic Plant Treatment Evaluation Protocol http://www4.uwsp.edu/cnr/uwexlakes/ecology/APM/Appendix-D.pdf ,in addition to controlling Eurasian Watermilfoil with aquatic herbicide treatments, dam modification, and channel dredging.
