MABLE LAKE ASSOC: Mable Lake Aquatic Plants
The Mable Lake Association in will conduct baseline plant monitoring and evaluate Eurasian Water Milfoil (EWM) densities and control options. EWM was discovered in August of 2010.
The project includes the following goals: 1) Complete 2015 point-intercept survey; 2) Complete an Aquatic Plant Management Plan; 3) Conduct a lake stewards workshop that addresses lake ecology, native aquatic plant community (including plant identification), and aquatic invasive species; 4) Complete a report on EWM management recommendations and monitoring efforts.
