DANE COUNTY: Indian Lake Carp Removal
Dane County is sponsoring a project to complete a control project of common carp, that are a new (within 5 years) invader in Indian Lake, Dane County.
Project final deliverables include: The final report will include all data collected, and an analysis of the pre-and post-seining water quality and plants.
Specific project activities include: 1) Seining, counting and disposing of carp, 2) in-Lake water quality monitoring from May through October, 2016; and 3) monitoring plant response using sonar and digital mapping
