ONEIDA COUNTY LWCD: AIS Public Awareness Education

Oneida County Land and Water Conservation Department is sponsoring an AIS Education, Planning and Prevention grant to be completed by December 31, 2007. Project partners include UW-Extension-Oneida County and YMCA of the Northwoods-Earth Service Corps. The project will focus on increasing AIS Public Awareness within Oneida County by participating in AIS educational opportunities and hosting Clean Boats/Clean Waters (CB/CW) workshops.

Project activities include:

1) Set up work group to partner on AIS educational activities

2) Participate in Oneida County 2007 4th of July parade (with float)

3) Participate in Oneida County 4-H Fair (display and booth)

4) Host and coordinate 3 CB/CW workshops
