SAWYER COUNTY: Sawyer County AIS Coordination Project
Sawyer County is continuing an AIS Coordinator project to perform education outreach at public events, assist in development & implementation of specific AIS education/control plans, develop Purple Loosestrife bio-control projects, provide identification support of AIS populations, monitoring & mapping of AIS species, distribute educational materials, implement CBCW programs, develop prevention & AIS control plans including use of early application herbicides, provide technical support for rapid response projects, & provide grant assistance.
