UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN - OSHKOSH: Vilas County Boat Decontamination Program
UW Oshkosh is sponsoring an AEPP grant to provide decontamination services on Vilas County lakes. The project will focus on decontamination of boats, staffing for the unit and administering a boater survey.
Activities:
- Hire staff to operate unit \2013 400 hours
- Develop and administer boater education flyers
- Develop final report
Project deliverables include:
- Supplies and Staff
- Educational flyer
- Decontamination survey results
- Final report
Specific project conditions:
- Boater survey needs Dept review and approval before administering
- Final report needs Dept review and approval
WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) copy of report and boater survey.
