MOEN LAKE CHAIN ASSOCIATION: AIS Education & Monitoring Project
Moen Lake Chain Association is sponsoring an aquatic invasive species Education, Prevention and Planing grant on the Moen Chain in Oneida County. The project will focus on AIS education, prevention and monitoring.
Project activities include:
1) Recruit volunteers and implement a Clean Boat, Clean Water program
2) Hire an AIS coordinator
3) Conduct AIS citizen lake monitoring following Dept/UW Ext guidelines
4) Entry of inspection forms 3200-120 and monitoring forms onto Dept website
5) AIS education- disperse information in local community, share results of project in newsletter and local media
6) Develop final report
