RIVER ALLIANCE OF WISCONSIN: St. Croix AIS Coordinator
River Alliance of Wisconsin is sponsoring a project to complete AIS monitoring, outreach, education and coordination throughout the St. Croi River Watershed with the following goals:Deliverables: all data collected, agendas and minutes for planning meetings and a lake management plan that includes methodologies , results and management alternatives discussion with an implementation plan.Project activities: 1. Conduct and work with AIS Strategic Plan for the St. Croix River; 2. Participate in additional statewide AIS outreach; 3. Conduct water craft inspection along the St. Croix River; 4. Increase early detection and rapid response; 5. Conduct routine monitoring along the St. Croix River;6. Maintain and expand partnerships and communications network between partners.Project conditions: 1. All data shall be entered into SWIMS database;2. conduct AIS monitoring with Department approved protocols; 3. Follow and utilize Deparmtent Rapid-Response Protocols and Plans. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records and reports, including GIS-based maps and digital images, must be submitted to theDepartment in a format specified by the Lake Biologist.If the consultant is to proved a final report, it is recommend that the Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on the report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR is to receive both paper and electronic.pdf copies of the final report along with or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
