DOUGLAS COUNTY: Douglas County Butterfly Dock EDRR Project
Project Scope
Douglas County is sponsoring a response project to continue managing an isolated patch of Butterfly Dock within a private property in the City of Superior. In close proximity to tributaries that lead into Lake Superior. Chemical control or manual removal will take place in order to manage the isolated patch. The grantee will continue contact with private landowner to monitor the site. A management plan will be provided.
Deliverables include: The result of the project will be a control summary, detailing methods and the area treated.
Special Condition: Locational data should be entered into SWIMS.
The specific objectives, metrics, and deliverables for the listed activities are included in the application and supporting materials, and this scope is not intended to replace or supersede those documents. If consultant is to provide final report, it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
