UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON: Implementing "Smart Prevention" of AIS in Wisconsin
The Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System is sponsoring a project for UW Center for Limnology staff to analyze lakes statewide for their vulnerability to three aquatic invasive species, Eurasian watermilfoil, spiny waterflea, and zebra mussels. The results will be a very helpful guide to prioritize monitoring and management of these species. The project activities include: 1. Develop datasets and a data management framework, and 2. Assess lake vulnerability for the three species.
