HARRIS LAKE ASSOCIATION, INC.: Harris Lake Curly-Leaf Pondweed Rapid Response Project

Harris Lake Association, Inc is sponsoring an Rapid Response grant to be completed by June 30, 2011. The project will focus on surveying and mapping CLP for 2 years to determine how much CLP exists and assess annual differences in the CLP population in Harris Lake. Management alternatives, if necessary, will be explored once the surveying and mapping is completed and will be part of this project.

Project activities include: 1) Surveying and mapping of CLP (early June) during 2009 and 2010; 2) Pre-treatment survey conducted a week or less prior to any management; 3) Any necessary management; 4) Post-treatment survey the following spring after management.
