CRANBERRY LAKE/FLOWAGE ASSOCIATION: Cranberry Lake/Flowage Eurasian Watermilfoil Rapid Response 2009-2011
Cranberry Lake Association is sponsoring its second Aquatic Invasive Species Rapid Response (RR) project. The 2009-2011 project will monitor and manage a pioneering population of Eurasian watermilfoil scattered throughout the lake.
Project activities include:
1) Seasonal and/or pre- and post-treatment aquatic plant monitoring
2) SCUBA and manual removal of Eurasian watermilfoil
3) Possible chemical treatments, under the guidance of WDNR
4) Completion of an Aquatic Plant Management Plan that follows the WDNRs Aquatic Plant Management in Wisconsin guidance
