MOEN LAKE CHAIN ASSOCIATION: AIS Education and Monitoring Project
Moen Lake Chain Association is sponsoring an AIS EPP grant on the Moen Chain in Oneida County to be completed by December 31, 2010. The project will focus on AIS education, prevention and monitoring.
Project activities include: 1) Hire an AIS coordinator; 2) Recruit volunteers and implement a CB/CW program; 3) Conduct AIS citizen lake monitoring following Dept/UW Ext guidelines; 4) Entry of inspection forms 3200-120 and monitoring forms onto Dept website; 5) AIS education- disperse information in local community, share results of project in newsletter and local media; 6) Develop final report.
