GLACIERLAND RC&D, INC.: Glacierland RCD Tri-County Clean Boats Project
Glacierland Resource Conservation and Development proposes to conduct Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) education and boat inspections by implementing an AIS awareness program and "Clean Boats, Clean Waters" watercraft inspection program during the period 2010-2011. The project elements and deliverables are specified in the Glacierland\2019s Resource Conservation and Development Aquatic Invasive Species Education Grant application, dated January 27, 2010. The project includes to recruit, train and schedule volunteers; educate boaters about aquatic invasive species and the measures to prevent their spread; form a Brown and Kewaunee county stakeholders group; conduct meetings on AIS issues; work with wildlife managers on AIS issues.
