PINE LAKE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSN: Pine Lake - Targeted EWM control project

The Pine Lake Property Owners Association is sponsoring an ACEI grant on Pine Lake in the Town of Springwater to be completed in 2023 and possibly 2024. The project will focus on controlling EWM.

Project final deliverables include: 1) Provide all spatial data prior to implementation 2) Point Intercept and EWM Mapping Surveys 3) Annual AIS monitoring and control strategy reports 4) Herbicide concentration results 5) Final report including data, AIS mgmt. and future mgmt.

Specific project activities include: 1) ProcellaCOR herbicide treatment on Pine Lake in 2023 (2024 if needed) 2) Conduct Pre and Post sub-PI surveys to monitor changes to the plant community in herbicide treatment areas 3) Conduct whole lake PI to assess any large-scale impacts to plant community 4) Monitor herbicide concentration levels in lake post treatment 5) Create annual report with results and recommendations for future management.

Special Conditions: If consultant is to provide final report, the Grantee shall provide the DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
