BARRON COUNTY: Barron County 2010 Japanese Knotweed Early Detection & Response Project
Barron County Soil and Water Conservation Department is sponsoring a single-season early detection and response project that will monitor and manage pioneering populations of Japanese knotweed adjacent to Rice Lake and the Chetek Chain.
Project activities include: identification, mapping, and management of pioneering colonies. Management may include multiple herbicide applications/methods and mowing.
