ADAMS COUNTY: 2024 Adams LMPN

Adams County will implement an Aquatic Invasive Species (\201CAIS\201D) Prevention and Outreach Program as described by the Scope of Work, submitted to the department, and hereto made part of this grant agreement. The Scope of Work documents the manner in which Adams County will provide core AIS Prevention and Citizen Lake Monitoring Network (\201CCLMN\201D) services within the county. Adams County will provide local support and assistance in implementation of statewide communication and education priorities. Adams County will perform the following core services within Adams County: 1)Coordinate CLMN (water quality and AIS)2)Coordinate Clean Boats Clean Waters Program3)Coordinate checks on WI DNR AIS signage at public access sites4)Coordinate implementation of WI AIS Management Plan\2019s Pathways approach (non-recreational fishing and aquaculture)5)Provide AIS Outreach and Education to partners and stakeholders6)Provide technical assistance to grantee/grant applicant for AIS Prevention and Early Detection & Response grant projects 7)Coordinate and participate in early detection and response monitoring for AIS8)Collect and report other chemical, biological, or physical data on lake ecosystems as requested by WI DNR9)Facilitate entry of all data in WI DNR SWIMS DatabaseDNR will be provided electronic copies of all data, reports and maps generated as a result of this project. Adams County will submit 2 Progress Reports and a Final Report to WI DNR. This scope summarizes the purpose, goals, duties, and requirements as described in the Scope of Work attached and does not supersede those agreed upon tasks and deliverables. Special Conditions: \201CProvide technical assistance to a grantee or grant applicant for AIS Control\201D was mistakenly included in the Scope of Work. This service is not included in FY24 and request for AIS Control Grant technical assistance should be referred to WI DNR.
