MANSON LAKE ASSOCIATION: Manson Lake Lake Study History Grant

The Manson Lake Association (MLA) is sponsoring a project which will focus on collecting lake and lake user data as well as creating a comprehensive report containing all previous lake data available for Manson Lake.

Activities:

1) Review and analyze historical water quality, aquatic plant, fisheries and other lake data;

2) Conduct acoustic bathymetry survey;

3) Conduct a lake user social survey;

4) Develop lake report.

Deliverables:

1) Data from bathymetry and social surveys;

2) A completed lake report.

Conditions:

1) Draft user survey questions to be reviewed and approved by DNR Social Scientist before distribution or use.

2) DNR Lake Biologist will be provided with a copy of reports and/or management plans; data from bathymetry survey.

This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.

If a consultant provides a final report, it is recommended that the Grantee provide the DNR Biologist with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making a final payment to the consultant. Include electronic copy of the final report along with or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
