ADAMS COUNTY: 2025 Adams LMPN
Adams County will implement an Aquatic Invasive Species (\201CAIS\201D) Prevention and Outreach Program as described by the Scope of Work, submitted to the department, and hereto made part of this grant agreement. The Scope of Work documents the manner in which Adams County will provide core AIS Prevention and Citizen Lake Monitoring Network (\201CCLMN\201D) services within the county. Adams County will provide local support and assistance in implementation of statewide communication and education priorities.
Adams County will perform the following core services within Adams County:
1) Participate in Clean Boats Clean Waters Program
2) Perform early detection and response monitoring
3) Host a Snapshot Day Event
4) Participate in Project RED
5) Participate in Purple Loosestrife Biocontrol Program
6) Participate in Citizen Lake Monitoring Network
7) Coordinate implementation of WI AIS Management Plan\2019s Pathways approach for Recreational Activities and Service Providers Pathway (signage and bait shop)
8) Provide AIS outreach and education to local partners and AIS stakeholders
9) Provide Surface Water Grant support
Additional activities agreed upon by DNR AIS Biologist: Conduct three point intercept surveys
All data for applicable activities will be entered into the SWIMS database.
Adams County will submit 1 Progress Reports and a Final Report to WI DNR.
