DEER LAKE DISTRICT: Deer Lake Eurasian Water Milfoil Early Detection & Response Project 2010-2011
Deer Lake District is sponsoring an AIRR grant which will focus on monitoring and controlling Eurasian Water Milfoil (EWM) in Deer Lake.
Project activities include: 1) Complete mapping of EWM; 2) Chemically treat and hand remove EWM; 3) Complete a EWM summer and spring treatment assessment survey; 4) Prepare Treatment Report.
