LAKE ASSOC OF ONEIDA LAKE: Oneida Lake EWM Detection & Response Project
The Lake Association of Oneida Lake is sponsoring a project which will focus on surveying and mapping all EWM and managing up to 5 acres of EWM in Oneida Lake for 2 years. Project activities include: 1) Conduct pre/post treatment surveys; 2) Control EWM through chemical treatments and hand harvesting; 3) Develop annual reports. Project deliverables include: 1) Aquatic plant survey data and maps; 2) Annual reports describing the findings of the pre and post treatment surveys and guidance for continued control actions.
