RIVER ALLIANCE OF WISCONSIN: LAX Area AIS Coordinator
The River Alliance of Wisconsin proposes to establish a La Crosse Area Partnership Coordinator position to coordinate Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) control activities and outreach on the Mississippi River and major tributaries leading to it in Buffalo, Trempealeau, and La Crosse Counties. Major project elements to include: a) Establish and maintain stakeholder partnership, b) Outreach to target audiences, c) Expand AIS monitoring, and d) Develop AIS Strategic Plan.
