RIVER ALLIANCE OF WISCONSIN: Statewide AIS EPP
The River Alliance of Wisconsin would like to expand aquatic invasive species education, planning and prevention for another year with this grant. They will: increase riverine AIS detection, and expand the protocols and recognition of volunteers; coordinate the statewide AIS Snapshot Day focusing primarily on the Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers; create new multimedia educational tools; recruit new and support new and existing partners; participate in ongoing and new working groups and trainings as needed. All sign distribution data will be entered into the department\2019s database, and results of the project will be shared via the River Alliance website, newsletter FLOW, blogs and in presentations at conferences and meetings.
