Conduct water quality sampling of lake. 2) Conduct a land use survey to identify land use changes and significant run-off areas, and determine the need for a more comprehensive septic system in the future. 3) Conduct a macrophyte sytvey that replicates the one conducted in 1977. 4) Evaluate the proposed dam reconstruction and draw-down project for Hiles Millpond to determine what effects this project would have on nutrient loading to the lake. 5) Prepare a final report that included 1 - 4 listed above. 6) Information will be disseminated to the public by newsletter, local newspaper articles, press releases to TV, radio, and newspapers in district area, poster displays, public meetings,summary and entire report mailings. Project results will be reposited at the Town Hall, Courthouse, public libraries in Forest County, DNR and RPC.
