BIG MUSKEGO/BASS BAY P & R DISTRICT: Big Muskego Lake Phosphorus Release & Sedimentation Study
The Big Muskego Bass Bay Lake District proposes to seek information relating to existing conditions with respect to phosphorous release from bottom sediments and the factors affecting the re-suspension of nutrients and sediment. Project activites include1) construct or purchase and temporarily install 8 limno corrals 2) conduct water quality monitoring biweekly for 14 weeks within the 8 limno corrals and one reference site, 3) information will be disseminated to the public by public meetings. Project results will be reposited at the City of Muskego Library.
