EAU CLAIRE COUNTY: Lake Altoona, Aquatic Eco-System Assessment Task 3

The Eau Claire County Land Conservation Department proposes to contract with the Army Corps of Engineers to perform a limnological assessment of Lake Altoona. Total (three phase) project activities to include: 1) Construction of hydrological budget and evaluation of extrernal loadings and discharges, 2) Water quality monitoring and evaluation of internal loadings from sediments, and 3) Development and issuance of a final report. The project results will be disseminated to the public by newsletter, newspaper articles, meetings and availability of report at the Altoona Public Library.
