WINNEBAGO COUNTY: Lake Butte des Morts Land Management Plan & Brochure
Winnebago County proposes to develop a land management plan for the acquisition of approximately 1,200 acres of the Lake Butte des Morts watershed. An informational brochure will be produced explaining the land acquisition project and its relationship to protecting the lake. The sponsor will prepare a final report summarizing the project results and will also provide the Department of Natural Resources with a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. The sponsor will disseminate information about the project to the public through the brochure, newsletter mailing, entire report mailing, public meeting, and local newspaper article.
