LONG LAKE PRESERVATION ASSOCIATION: Long Lake Management Planning
Conduct water quality monitoring of lake. Assess summer plankton populations. Monitor precipitation and lake levels. Conduct aquatic plant survey. Evaluate available watershed information. Collect phosphorus data from watershed lakes. The grantee will disseminate information to the public by newsletter, local newspaper articles, public meetings and report mailings. Project results will be reposited at Long Lake, Birchwood, Madge Town Halls, Long Lake Chamber, Washburn County Land Conservation Department, and Tomahawk Scout Reservation.
