TOWN OF SUMMIT: Silver Lake USGS Water Qual Monitoring & Land Use Inventory

Water quality monitoring during 1992-96. Identify sensitive environmental areas in and surrounding the lake including wetlands and fish and wildlife breeding areas. Conduct a land use inventory of the watershed. USGS will annually publish water quality data analyses and lake depth profiles. USGS will annually submit a progress to the Town of Summit after each year of monitoring. USGS will make a formal presentation of final results of the water quality analyses. USGS will prepare a final report summarizing the analyses. Information will be disseminated to the public by newsletter and public meeting.
