FOREST LAKE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION: Forest Lake Management Planning
Conduct water quality monitoring in 1994-96. Prepare a watershed management plan which will include a watershed map location of septic systems, an estimate of sediment and nutrient loading to the lake, and recommendations for non-point pollution control measures. Conduct an aquatic plant survey. Conduct an experiment involving the removal of Eurasian watermilfoil and planting of Najas. Conduct an opinion survey of property owners on and around the lake. Information will be disseminated to the public by newsletter, local newspaper articles, public meetings, and report mailings.
