Conduct water quality sampling. Prepare a bathymetric map and a watershed map. Conduct algae and aquatic plant surveys. Determine causes of algae and aquatic plant growth and describe control measures. Evaluate fishery records. Conduct survey of septic leachate survey and collect bacteria samples of septic systems surrounding the lakes. Conduct a survey of erosion-prone areas to evaluate sources of sediment to the lakes. Prepare water and nutrient budgets for the lake.
